This month, I had the opportunity to develop a full creative package for our August Summer Sales Event, and I wanted to share a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into launching a dealership-wide promotion that’s both eye-catching and aligned with manufacturer standards.
Starting With the Message
Before designing a single graphic, it starts with understanding the sales priorities: which vehicles are being promoted, what rebates and lease programs are available, and how long the campaign will run. From there, I work closely with the team to ensure we’re hitting the right balance of urgency, clarity, and transparency.
Staying Within Brand Guidelines
Each manufacturer — Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Ram — has its own set of brand standards and advertising rules. That includes using the correct logos, typography, color palette, model naming, and legal footnotes. Every piece of creative — from web banners to roadside signs — must reflect these guidelines accurately.
For this campaign, I ensured that every asset met those standards while still feeling fresh and engaging for the customer.
